With each drop that
touches my soul
a sigh tides through
the sea of tranquil

a life lived and lost
a smile that bloomed and withered
just a sweet fragrance
and a moment of truth
is all that endures

in dappled hues and
myriad notes
a sonnet the heart
lost the tune and beat
resonates through
the dark clouds

a beating of the heart
a desire profound
a smile open and warm
all it takes
to believe again
to live again !
