Kya kya rang dikhaye zindagi tune
har rang mein rangta gaya
har mod se guzarta chala
afsaanon ki bheed mein bhi
dil ki mehfil aaj kyun tanha…

har ghoonth ko labon se chuma
har aasoon ki ek piyaali
os ki boond si har hasi
tapti dhoop mein kyun bana sapna …

Kya kya rang dikhaye  zindagi tune
khwab kai jo seene mein dafn hue
haath jo milke bhi na milpaye
pal woh jo jeene ke bahane 
bas kho diye is dil ki tishnagi ne…

unhi palon ki talaash mein
aankh khole aur bas ek sehra
nazar aaye to ehsaas yeh hua
Zindagi na milegi dobaara…
