“All rise for the bride!”

As she walked down the aisle in her bridal gown strewn with sequins and sparkling stars, many a hearts skipped a beat. With each step, she felt as if she passed many a lifetimes. This was a match made in heaven. Yet, her wait has been as long as her first feel of love – eternal yet unrequited.

Ryan looked longingly at Angelina. Yes, she is the woman he never knew he desired so deeply. She is the woman he could fall in love with, all over again, after all these years. She is the one, who loved, longed and almost lost herself in a life undeserving of her, just to see her love flourish while she perished every moment.

If you love someone, set them free. If your love is true, you will be united one day. Today is that fateful day for Ryan and Angelina.

Strange are the ways of love.

Angelina wiped her tears. Her fondest dream was to come true in seconds. She closed her eyes for a moment. Tiara’s ever smiling face flashed before her.

Even in her weakest of moments, she had an aura like none.

“I loved him to death, Angel! More than anybody ever could, but that day I realized I was blind in my love for Ryan to not see it. I heard her teardrops fall silently as she hugged Ryan for the last time. He never realized it but I have carried the guilt of a broken heart ever since.
Would you promise..”

Yes, she has kept the promise. Tiara must be smiling now, a nest she built with all her heart is now going to be fostered by her daughter. A dream her mother saw, she made it true. Ryan and Angelina, were destined to be together.

“And you may now kiss the bride..” pronounced the Minister

Ryan opened up his arms..for the love of his life..For the one and only Angelina…

“I love you Daddy!
I love you Angelina !! “

Angelina rushed to the stage as Ryan and Angelina kissed each other to a grand applause.
Ryan beamed with his daughter and newlywed wife in tow. He had now two angels to take care of him !

Almost 15 years back, I rediscovered love with Rahul, Tina and the effervescent Anjali. I smiled and cried with them. What can I say more than just that some stories are truly timeless…
