Together we walk

On a gloomy day
when nothing seems to
go my way
And a tomorrow awaits
in shades of grey….
I reminisce..
birds of hope
are still aflutter
in a heart so dear
and a warm smile
looks my way…

Deep down those eyes
I see the dreams
I could never reach
in each touch of those words
hopes resurrect
and pains vanish

I wish you humbling skies
and the unending shores
for a life content and
love to fill your heart to core

For any wish wished for you is a plea
to shower us with His blessings
and a journey of mirth and glee

Lets make a promise
let the hearts unite
to love and live till our breaths last
and bring joys as we might
together we walk
together we stand
eyes on each other
and hand-in-hand…
