Quite a dilemma it had been

To choose which one was brighter?

 

Dangling from your dainty earring

the solitary crystal,

that shone by your dazzling smile,

As if  a raindrop had found its way

to a parched soul,

leaving a nest in the clouds

to pastures greener yet deprived since a lifetime ?

 

Or was it the glint of spark

that had caught me in a spider web,

like an enchanted moth I fluttered and advanced

to reach what seemed so near yet 

an eternity of sighs,

 a blissful beacon which seemed like my destiny,

of which I seemed I was always sure yet

I had just realised,

how two eyes and their alluring light,

would make my soul soar to horizons

hitherto unknown…

 

Which one?

Guess I would never know…
