You are special.

Half knowledge of this fact is not doing any good to you; yet the more you believe in this is nothing but sort of catastrophic. Such is the irony.

You were born from a seed of love, nurtured with a sincere hope and fed with dreams of every hue. Little surprise you have grown to be what you are now, a painter with this huge canvass in front of you, where your imagination could run riot. What you paint will leave a mark of your artistry.

You had it all, yet you chose to feed on the forbidden fruit. Which is why you have this repertoire of competing traits, mingling and giving rise to new ones.

A love bordering on obsession. A passion becoming devotion. A rage nearing a fatal fall. An indifference to the point of apathy.

Or a despair leading to death.

You have the best yet you breed the worst in you. What wins this inner battle is what finally defines you.

Yet you must know you are special, with all your imperfections, with all your virtues.
The world may put you on a pedestal or pull you down to the abyss of ignorance, but you must realise, your battle is never with the world. For the world has its own battle to fight in its heart- just like you.

You are special, yet no different from the world. You are the world, yet the world can’t revolve around you.

You are special, just like everybody else around you.

The fading line between self-consciousness and self-arrogance is all that defines the Special You.
